This Austin-Healey 100-4 has been meticulously restored to the highest and most accurate standards possible. It retains its numbers-matching engine, as verified by the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate. In 1955 and 1956, a special edition of the 100-4 was released to celebrate the company’s success at Le Mans, allowing enthusiasts to enjoy the best offerings from the manufacturer. Only 640 factory-built 100M Le Mans edition cars were produced during this time. As the factory-built versions were limited, many owners returned to dealers for the “M” modifications and upgrades. This particular model has been equipped with the Le Mans modifications, which include a special aluminum cold air box, a unique cam, tuned carburetors, and ignition system.
